Terms of Use

← Natmeg

These terms apply when you download or play Natmeg ("the app"). "We" and "us" mean Natmeg's publisher, named under Who we are at the foot of this page. You can reach us any time at [email protected].

By installing or playing the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

1. Store terms come first

You download Natmeg from the Apple App Store or Google Play, and those stores impose their own terms on you. On iOS, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your licence to use the app. Where anything here conflicts with the store's terms, the store's terms win for that point.

2. Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Natmeg on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment.

You may not: copy, redistribute or resell the app; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits; remove or obscure any ownership notice; use it to build a competing product; or use cheats, automation or modified clients to interfere with scoring or with other players' experience.

3. What we own

The app, its source code, artwork, animation, audio, characters, level design, text and the Natmeg name and logo are ours and protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.

Screenshots and video of your own gameplay are yours to post, stream and monetise. We are glad when you do.

4. Rewarded ads

Natmeg shows optional rewarded video ads: you may choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game benefit, such as continuing a run. You are never required to watch an ad to keep playing.

Rewards are virtual, have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred, and may be changed or withdrawn in a future version. If an ad fails to load or play, or a reward does not arrive because of a network or provider fault, our only obligation is to let you try again.

Ads are served by Google AdMob. What they collect is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Tips and donations

If you choose to support development through our Ko-fi page, that payment is a voluntary gift. It is processed by Ko-fi and its payment providers under their terms, not by us. It buys no in-game content, no removal of ads, and no other benefit inside the app, and it is generally not refundable by us. Direct any payment problem to Ko-fi.

6. Scores and saved data

Your best score and settings are stored on your device. There is no account and no cloud save, so deleting the app, resetting the device, or switching to a new phone loses that progress permanently. We cannot restore it. We may reset or discount scores that were obtained by exploiting a bug or by tampering with the app.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue the app, any game mode, or any feature at any time, including this one. We may also stop distributing the app entirely. We will not owe you a refund for a free app, and we will try to give reasonable notice of a discontinuation in the app's release notes where it is practical to do so.

We may change these terms. The "Last updated" date above will change, and material changes will be noted in the release notes. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.

8. Age

Natmeg is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. Because it shows ads, we ask that a parent or guardian supervises use by younger children. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the app with a parent or guardian's permission.

9. No warranty

Natmeg is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with your device, or that any defect will be fixed.

Nothing here excludes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law. If you are a consumer in the EU, your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost progress or scores, lost profits, loss of data, device damage, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, and the courts of Croatia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country, and you may bring proceedings there. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

12. Who we are, and how to reach us

Natmeg is published by TVIK Solutions, a company registered in Croatia, and that is who "we" means throughout these terms. Questions about them: [email protected].
